Astroneer: Glitchwalkers

Before getting into details, lets briefly go over important notes:

• Much of the new DLC content, like storms, a new module, new resources, and more, will be added for free to the main game.
• If you’re playing with friends, only one of you needs to own the DLC. As long as you have it, you can invite friends who don’t have it, so you can enjoy the expansion together (although buying it supports the developers).
• Since the DLC is part of the main storyline, you’ll need to progress through the campaign first. After completing the mission “A Core Concept,” you’ll unlock the DLC, starting with the mission called “Is This Thing On?”.

A New Planet – Aeoluz (DLC Exclusive)

The Aeoluz System has one massive planet, Aeoluz, with 8 new biomes, tough terrain, unique points of interest, and fresh mechanics. The planet also has new ambient music across its surface and underground.

Glitched + Hacked Storms

Glitched Storms appear on any base game planet except Sylva, adding new challenges and puzzles to solve.

New Mission Chain and Lore

You also get new missions, lore items, and cutscenes in both the base game and the Aeoluz expansion:

• Ruby Module: Collects storm data from Hot Spots inside storm zones
• Vault Finder: A backpack item that helps locate EXO Data Vaults
• Rootkits: Obtained from EXO Vaults, these allow secure system access
• D-Cipher Module: Uses Rootkits and storm data to create Counterhack Keys, vital for fixing Hacked Gateway Chambers.
• Storm Data Nuggets: Gathered from Ruby, these nuggets boost storm protection and are valuable in research.
