Crossplay between PC and consoles has arrived, making it easier than ever to team up with friends, no matter what platform they play on. This new feature bridges the gap between players, letting you squad up with friends across devices and enjoy seamless gaming experiences together.
Console players now have the option to join the PC player pool if they choose, but the reverse isn't true - PC players cannot opt into the console matchmaking pool. This is similar to how crossplay works for Apex Legends. Additionally, any squad with at least one PC player will automatically be placed in the PC matchmaking pool, ensuring a balanced and competitive gameplay environment
For ranked matches with crossplay enabled, console players will have two separate ranks: one for PC matchmaking and another for console matchmaking. This means their rank progression will vary depending on which pool they play in, giving players the flexibility to explore both competitive ecosystems while maintaining distinct rankings.
