Description
Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a 2021 third-person shooter game developed by Cold Iron Studio in collaboration with 20th Century Games (formerly known as 20th Century Studios). It serves as a standalone sequel to the original Alien trilogy and is more action-oriented than survival-horror. Set 23 years after the events of the films, players assume the role of Colonial Marines responding to a distress call from the outer colonies aboard the UAS Endeavor spaceship. The game features seven character classes, four-story campaigns with three missions each, and allows players to customize weapons and characters. It offers five difficulty levels and various enemy types. While local co-op is not available, online matchmaking can be public or private. The game plans to release post-launch DLC without loot boxes or microtransactions.
