Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action-adventure game set in the Avatar film series universe. Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, the game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on December 7, 2023. Played in a first-person perspective, the player assumes the role of a Na'vi orphan raised by the Resources Development Administration (RDA) and wakes up fifteen years later in an abandoned facility. The story revolves around the player's journey across the Western Frontier of Pandora, discovering their origins, and uniting Na'vi tribes to resist RDA's exploitation of the region's natural resources. Set in the year 2146, the game follows the protagonist, known as "the Sarentu," and their Na'vi companions who were trained by the RDA in The Ambassador Program. After waking up from cryogenic suspension, the group joins the Resistance, a faction opposing the RDA. The narrative unfolds as the Sarentu learns about their past, the RDA's plans to devastate Pandora for resources, and their efforts to unite the Na'vi clans against a common enemy.
