Description
Dauntless is a free-to-play action RPG developed by Phoenix Labs and published by Epic Games. It supports crossplay across various platforms. Initially launched in beta for Windows in May 2018, it expanded to PS4 and Xbox One with cross-platform play in May 2019, fully releasing on those platforms in September 2019. A Nintendo Switch version arrived in December 2019, while PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions were released in December 2021. In the game, players become Slayers in a fantasy world devastated by cataclysmic events, where they hunt down monstrous creatures called Behemoths. They collect loot to craft and upgrade weapons and equipment for battling increasingly powerful Behemoths. Gameplay involves third-person action combat with combos, health, and stamina management. It can be played solo, cooperatively with up to four players, or in public cooperative instances accommodating up to six players.
