Skull and Bones is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft, scheduled for release on February 16, 2024. Set against the backdrop of the late 17th century during the Golden Age of Piracy, the game immerses players in a fantastical world inspired by East Africa and Southeast Asia. Players take control of a customizable pirate ship and can embark on a single-player campaign or engage in player versus player gameplay in Disputed Waters with up to six players. The game initially faced a tumultuous development journey, undergoing changes in setting, gameplay, and scope, resulting in multiple delays.
