Description
Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG developed by NCSoft, initially conceived as a sequel to the Lineage series, but later restructured and rebranded over the course of its long development. First announced as Lineage Eternal in 2011, the game underwent numerous delays, leadership changes, and a shift to Unreal Engine 4. It was rebranded to Throne and Liberty in 2022, with Amazon Games acquiring publishing rights in 2023. The game offers cross-platform support across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It features large-scale multiplayer experiences and customization options for players, and after an open beta in 2024, it is set for full release in October 2024.
